Micro-Needling
Platelet Rich Plasma
Skin Boosters
What is it?
Micro-needling, or collagen induction therapy, is a procedure to help reduce the appearance of acne scars, pore size, stretch marks, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and melasma.
How does it work?
Under topical anesthesia, very fine, short needles are introduced into the skin by an automated micro-needling device. Small punctures are made into the surface of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The treatment can be enhanced with platelet rich plasma or a serum composed of vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid.
What should I expect?
The procedure is minimally invasive, although redness may persist 1-3 days following treatment. The skin may feel tight and sensitive, and may flake before revealing a smoother, brighter appearance. We recommend regular treatments to maintain results.
